Heat pipe radiator inspection: Small excavators operate under harsh conditions for a long time, and a large amount of dust and small debris can easily block the hydraulic press heat pipe radiator and the water tank heat pipe radiator. In particular, the hydraulic press heat pipe radiator is more susceptible to being exposed to the outside for a long time. If the heat pipe radiator is found to be blocked behind the water tank, special attention should be paid to the exposure of the hydraulic press heat pipe radiator. The debris on the radiator should be cleaned in time to ensure that the heat dissipation channel is unobstructed and maintain good heat dissipation performance.
Cylinder head gasket inspection: Check the state of the water in the water tank during the circulation process. If foam appears in the water, this is likely to indicate that there is a problem with the engine's cylinder head gasket. If the cylinder head gasket is damaged, the high-temperature gas inside the engine will enter the cooling system, which will cause the water temperature to rise abnormally. At this time, the cylinder head gasket needs to be inspected and evaluated in detail and replaced if necessary.
Pump operation equipment inspection: When inspecting the pump operation equipment, the relevant pipes can be squeezed by hand. If the pipe feels hard when squeezed, it means that the pump is working normally; if the pipe can be squeezed easily, it means that the circulation system of the pump is not running well, there may be internal leakage or other faults, and further investigation and maintenance are required to ensure the normal circulation function of the pump.
Check the water tank cover: If the water tank cover is damaged, it will also cause the temperature of the small excavator to rise. Because the water tank is an integrated design, when the water tank cover is damaged, the outside air can easily enter, affecting the normal operation of the water circulation system and causing the water temperature to rise. Therefore, the integrity of the water tank cover should be checked regularly, and if it is damaged, it should be replaced in time.
Check the thermostat: Check whether the thermostat can be opened normally or stuck. The thermostat plays a key regulating role in the cooling system of the small excavator. If it cannot be opened or closed normally according to the water temperature, the coolant circulation will be abnormal, resulting in poor heat dissipation and the body temperature will rise accordingly. Once the thermostat failure is found, it should be repaired or replaced in time.
Check the fan speed: Confirm whether the fan speed is too slow to keep up with the speed of the electric pulley. Insufficient fan speed will reduce air flow, affect the heat dissipation effect of the radiator, and easily increase the temperature of the small excavator body. The fan speed can be detected by professional tools and compared with the technical parameters of the equipment. If the speed does not meet the requirements, it is necessary to check the fan transmission device, motor and other components, repair or replace the problematic components to ensure that the fan can run at normal speed and effectively remove heat.
