Cause of wear: The root cause of this failure is that when the valve rotates, the fitting part of the valve and the valve seat is subjected to continuous and violent impact of a large amount of debris or dust. This frequent and violent impact gradually wears the valve seat until it disappears.
Related factors: This type of failure is usually accompanied by damage to the intake impeller of the turbocharger. The damaged impeller produces debris, which will enter the valve and valve seat assembly along the intake duct, further aggravating the wear. The damage to the turbocharger impeller is largely due to the inadequate maintenance of the air filter, which causes a large amount of external dust to flow into the intake duct.
Fault-related system: It can be seen that this type of fault is closely related to the relevant components of the intake system, including the maintenance of the turbocharger and air filter, as well as a large amount of foreign matter entering the intake duct.
4. Treatment of carbon deposit failure in the excavator engine
For this fault, we took the following treatment measures: replace the worn valve seat ring and the damaged valve. During the replacement process, the new valve and valve seat ring were finely ground to ensure a good fit between the two. After the grinding was completed, the relevant parts were reassembled, and the engine carbon deposit failure was successfully solved.

Once the valve seat ring is worn, it will inevitably cause engine failures of varying degrees.
